Appreciating what you are-----the most difficult job.......

We strive to appreciate the essence of our life, whatever we are going through at the moment. Learning appreciation is difficult, because our society always teaches us about good and bad. If we have the things we want we are happy, if we don't have them, we begrudge our lives. We are more biased by what happens around us , not what we do to make things happen because somewhere we have lost our faith in making things happen. to add we have too much attachment to materialistic things .

Where did this come from? When we were a child we had a little or no view of people and things, by just adding one thought from here and one from there we use to conclude whatever we wanted to. That made a little meaning to our actions which went unnoticed by us but we did appreciate our childhood since then.

As we groom our young minds we start hearing alot from here and there, more people more we think,more we tend to understand and our stubborn nature wants to take control of our lives. We would listen to all but do as we desire.

As we start to grow old people start taking control of us and we get angry. We actually forget to harmonize with our true nature. We get swayed by opinions and thoughts of the ones around us.

In turn what happens is that we get deeply involved with what we observe, our mistaken identities take control of our true identity and that becomes our reality in true sense. We want to believe our mistaken identity and not our true selves.

Appreciation does not refer to things outside ourselves. Appreciate your own life first. We must learn to appreciate during our failure. Appreciate when we try and try again and still fail, appreciate when we embarrass yourself. Appreciate even if the world starts hating us. Because who else but you can only know your habits, your good jobs , your appreciable actions , your feelings for someone(good or bad), your respect for people and things , your dreams, your happiness and of course your distress. Every time you do something you act upon your what your brain tells you to or rather the righteous thing to do.

You are the greatest thing in the whole universe. If you believe there is nothing you cannot do with your life, then there is nothing you cannot do. To believe that you can do anything is to bring your life into harmony with your real essence that is by appreciating it. Humans are invariably capable of anything, but we do not trust ourselves and let our trust loose on ourselves.

We always look for validation outside, recognition from people ,friends and we'll never get it fully. On the other hand we never feel that by appreciating our actions we can have a validation on our own. If we trust ourselves, we will be able to influence everything around us.

We appreciate our possessions or what someone does for us. Which actually is just too much of a favour and a fickle approach of our lives. We think appreciation always has to be connected to the material or to any person. In our minds we judge our lives. We see part of our self as good and part as bad.We believe we have to push everything to the positive side and be happy. But you cannot do that always. You are just who you are just as you should be.

For this cause ,you must understand that you do not betray your dreams, your goals or yourself. No matter what happens, do not make any judgments about yourself. whenever you find (unhappy) situation is in your life, you must turn them around.
